Minutes:

Dr. Shelnutt presented the school district with the Silver Level flag as a Florida Healthy School District for establishing a culture and climate within the school district in which students and staff can be healthy and productive.

Minutes:

Superintendent Davis voiced his support of the litigation against HB 7069. 

Board members expressed their sorrow at the destruction of Hurricane Irma throughout our county and made positive comments about how the community and district pulled together to help those in need.  In particular, they thanked all of the employees who worked at school shelters for their assistance to our families who had to evacuate their homes.
